Viktor Vanzin joins from our academy .
Potential:
CL: Average
DH: Good
HL: Average
SP: None
FR: Average
CB: None
TT: None
TQ: Very good
Viktor originally comes from a village in Chernigov region ; not far from the Belarussian border ; but joined the academy a bit after his parents moved to Kiev for work at the age of 14.
Viktor has been described by my staff as a rider with excellent technical and downhill skills due to his mountain bike past.

Just had a meeting with my assistant Albert and Viktor.
We decided to train his TQ first ; then FR and then SP. After that DH.
If not maxed ; then HL . CL will come last.
But probably it s going to be next year .
Heavy traffic in here :-)
You first need to decide whether you wanna go the more sprinter way (TQ, FR) or the downhill way (DH, CL). I have to say I fully agree with what Nikoline wrote. If you go the DH way I‘d train DH and CL first and then decide if continuing with TQ is an option.
I‘m not experienced with sprinting so can‘t give you any advice there.
I will train Greshnev's HL first .
Yemelyanenko was a cheap buy to help on some races with 1/2 mountain
I will train Kosomov and Igumnov s SP as well. Both have good in MO .
We will see )
Yeah, that's what I plan to do with Denis, in 12 seasons.
a fellow one-nation-team :-)
I would train him DH, CL, HL even FR before TQ. To make him a TM/CP. He doesnt have to be only a domestique if he is still going, and you can get a good amount of training points in TQ.
It looks like you are first building up a sprint team (Yemelyanenko??).
For a LO, listen to what English suggested.
For now you might even consider not to train him, and save up.
Just friendly advice from
Nope :)
Mr Armstrong, you sir a one little wind up merchant!
But remember, do not train TQ first :)
I know that feeling, some teams have a policy of training future superstars/leaders, I just train anything 180+ English to be honest, it’s never done me wrong!
I think you are all misjudging Viktor. No offense ; bur Viktor is a domestique. He is not a leader.
USA: Not pessimistic, just realistic :-)
English: Agree 100 %, if LO is main purpose for him (DH-sprinter if he is not maxed after TQ, FR and SP).
Thank you EST. TQ>FR is an option Now)
If you’re going to use as support for sprinting you can train him in TQ and FR as LeadOut 2’s support TQ>FR>SP. Then you can hit DH after that to support with future climbing/downhill races as you’ll have the FR that teammates provide plus the DH
Because TQ, as Nikoline explained, works for LO's, not team mates.
I do not understand why a guy with high TQ won't be useful . If he maxes with high TQ and DH I can use him in two different ways.
I mean he is right, not rider... lol
Wow Niko, you are so negative. However Fedor, he is rider, a rider like him can start training TQ, because if he maxes low, he will be useful for nothing.
My rider Taipo is G-AVG-AVG...a 190+ climber He wins tours and races for me, but thats not my main point
TQ only helps as a LO, not as a TM.
There is about a 50 % chance he will max from 44 or lower, becoming a TM.
After that I will focus on his climber combo
I don't understand why.
If he becomes a climber he has no chance to win in div 5-6-7 with AV- GOod - AV
This is 190 potential.
+ I have no teammates to help ; only Yemelyanenko who is not a world champion .
My idea behind this is to use TQ to provide support to Dobrolyubov / Avandeyev and in long term to a possible pure Hiller .
Then DH because he can serve as a downhill later .
After t
I would not start with TQ...
I'm still a bit undecided ; I won't start training him now . I'm confident he will max at 50 and become my first "red" rider )
Interesting mix. certainly TQ & DH provides scope. given the requistes in CL & HL - it may be he's best suited to mountain races.
Nice talent! If I may say, you could train him CL, DH and HL at the same time (saves money on a low max) and then TQ.
TQ first ; DH next ; then I don't know
Interesting potentials.
Nice! How do you intend to train him?
